Ways to stop crime:
Unfortunately crime plagues many neighborhoods. Police and law
enforcement officials do their part, but the greatest efforts to clean
up a neighborhood often come from the people who live there. Be a
proactive member of your community and rally your friends and neighbors
to help you reduce and eliminate crime in your area and be prepared to
deal with a crime if and when one does occur.
Soaring Crime rates bring great fear in people. Despite the negative attitude that little can be done to stop the crime, we believe that there are several approaches to control it.
Education is important. Awareness should be created amongst the people about this issue. We all know that murders, abuses, corruption are bad-evil diseases of the society and are to be removed. So, the best we can do is create awareness so that the people also will come to know about these issues and stricter laws will be made, so that the criminals won't dare to do them!
Removing Negligence:
- Officials and people should be given special training, where they are taught to be responsible.
- The qualities of a person should be checked before they are put up on the job; so that accidents do not happen.
- Rules should be stricter, so that the officers could fear for negligence.
Power Cuts:
- Well, nothing can be done in regard to power cuts.
- But the government should come out with a better plan for power supply, which could satisfy people.
- People should also start saving electricity by taking necessary measurements - like turning off appliances when not in use.
Garbage Everywhere:
- Citizens shouldn't turn out roads or public places to dump-yards.
- Dump-yards should be located far away from the city, and garbage-collectors should pick up the garbage on a regular basis.
Uncovered Drains:
- All the drains should be covered, or else diseases are gonna spread like rumours.
- If Government is not taking care, at least an individual should take care about it.
Stray animals:
Stray animals are to be moved to the animal houses, so that this menace could be controlled.
Malfunctioning of hospitals:
- Government should enforce more stricter laws so that officers work seriously and negligence is removed.
- At-least with fear the officers will function properly.
