Crimes

The problems which can be classified under crimes are:

  • Murder
  • Corruption
  • Suicides
  • Domestic Violence
  • Child Abuse
  • Thefts

Murders:

  • Murders have become a major problem in our area these days.
  • Killing of enemies, neighbors, friends, and even parents, siblings and spouses has become a great problem.
  • They kill the victims for simple (even silly) reasons like disputes, dowry, property and even for small piece of land.
  • Let us take an example of a recent incident that took place in our area.
  • A man named Rajaram murdered his own wife over dowry.
  • He was later imprisoned.
  • Another incident took place where a man killed his own father, who rejected to give Rs.200 to the accused.

Corruption:

  • Corruption is yet another damn problem in the society.
  • Government officers/bureaucrats and even private officers can’t earn decently and they then go in a rubbish way of corruption by taking bribes.
  • Not only in our area, bribes are being taken everywhere.
  • Stupid people are offering bribes, and stupid officers are accepting them.
  • Maybe we all are aware of the incident where Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested three excise officials who were caught red-handed accepting bribes.
  • And one more incident where a Revenue officer was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs. 10000.
  • Is this what we are teaching to our kids? We are sure that 40-50% of officials are corrupt insects, and tend to corruption.

Suicides:

Suicides are another big problem.
  • Students, employees, farmers, and all type of people commit suicides.
  •  They stupidly write note like they couldn’t bear the pain or they are anguished and so and so blah blah blah..
  •  These dumb people do so, because they do not know the value of their life.
  • Let us take an example of a recent incident, which took place.
  • A University student named “Mahesh” committed suicide for just missing an exam!
  • He writes in his last note- “Mom, I’m sorry that I have committed suicide. Please excuse me. I have missed my exam, and I’ll fail.”
  • This boy didn’t care about his family. How can he? He himself lost with his life!

Domestic Violence:

  • This is one of the major problems between married people.
  • A man and a woman marry each other; they should have trust in each other.
  • But in some cases these days, Husband is an enemy for wife; and somewhere a wife is an enemy for husband.
  • They don’t have trust in each other, and this leads to quarrels; and this again leads to violence.
  • Yay! The man beats up the women, and then women hits back (in some cases); our men can’t tolerate this and then the Kurukshetra War begins.
  • No swords, no guns, but the hands and words! And sometimes these fights lead to severe injuries.

Child Abuses:

  • This is another problem.
  • Elders know great quotes like “Child is a form of God” and so forth.
  • And they themselves abuse the child. I know, I know, you’ll now say that you hit the child just for their good sake.
  • But sometimes, it goes to a great and horrible extent.
  • In some incidents we see that the children lose their eyes; hands and legs get fractured; and the shape of the face gets spoilt to scars and bruises.
  • Why do they abuse these little innocent tots (I know this is a satire); But still it’s not the correct way.
  • I’m not speaking just about parents, but teachers too!
  • In a recent incident, a boy was hit on groin (genital area), just for failing in exam; and this led to the failure/damage of his sexual organs (reproductive organs) of that boy.
